From Paper to Skin: A Tattoo Course for Serious Artists
If you’re a fine art student, illustrator, or someone with a strong foundation in drawing and visual storytelling, this tattoo course in Malta is designed for you. This isn’t a beginner tattoo workshop, it’s a transformative, career-focused program led by Thomaz Cauchi, a professional tattoo artist with over a decade of experience. Why This Tattoo Course Is Different
Unlike many online or quick-fix tattoo courses, this is a hands-on, in-person experience rooted in mentorship, technique, and real artistic growth. Over 3 months, you’ll move from theory to practice learning how to tattoo safely, skilfully, and with intention.
This course is ideal for artists who:

- Want to explore tattooing as a long-term career
- Are passionate about fine-line, realism or illustrative tattoos

📅 Tattoo Course Details

- Format: In-person, studio-based training

- Includes: Theory, hands-on practice, equipment introduction, hygiene standards, client work observation, portfolio development.

Application Requirements
This is a portfolio-based selection process. We’re seeking dedicated individuals, not hobbyists. To apply, you must:
✔️ Submit a portfolio showcasing your drawing or illustration skills (must include best 10 works)
✔️ Demonstrate a passion for tattoos and a willingness to learn (write an inspiring ‘why should I be chosen’ paragraph)
✔️ Be available for in-person sessions throughout the 3-month period
✔️ Be at least 18 years of age (provide a copy of ID card, front and back)
✔️ A recent police conduct certificate
✔️ Give out name and surname, e-mail address, Mobile number
